How to Earn your White Belt
Everything you need to know for your Second Class
Congratulations on committing yourself to participating in your second Martial arts class at CSMA! During your second class you will be tested for your White belt. The White belt signifies your first step on your road to Black Belt!
Martial arts requires a lot of hard work, self discipline and dedication. Below are a couple tasks we would like you to practice and be able to perform in your next class and at home:
Martial arts:
1. Memorize the first 3 lines of the Student Creed (To build true confidence through knowledge in the mind, Honesty in the heart, Strength in the body.)
2. Perform 3 of the Basic Techniques (Backfist, Reverse Punch, Front Kick). The tutorials for all these Basic Techniques are included in this course.
3. Perform 4 of the Basic Stances (Horse Stance, Attention Stance, Fighting Stance, Ready Stance). The tutorial for all these Basic Stances are included in this course.
Home: Perform one of the tasks listed below without your parents asking you to:
1. Make your bed
2. Brush your teeth
3. Put Away the dishes
4. Take out garbage
Your Instructor
Renshi Imran is one of the Head Instructors at the Canadian Sport Martial arts Academy, he started Martial arts at 6 years old and has been training for over 20 years. Throughout his years of Martial arts he has travelled all over the world to compete and successfully trained over 10 World Champions and continues to train more students to accomplish their goals. When Renshi Imran isn't at CSMA, he normally loves spending time with his family and his dogs. His goal is to inspire and motivate others to be strong leaders of the next generation!
